Liverpool Shopping Park is a new 800,000ft² retail and leisure park located on the main artery into Liverpool City Centre, split over six phases.

We have worked with The Derwent Group for over 20 years, assembling this site, master planning and stakeholder engagement before an initial scheme was released in 2007. Given the challenges facing the retail sector, flexibility, focus on end user requirements and customer experience has been critical to remain relevance over such a long delivery period.

Given the longevity of this project, efforts from the client and entire team, it is fantastic to watch LSP become a reality. The early retail phases have been a great success and we are passionate to deliver further retail and leisure phases shortly. Working with so many retailers and tenants on this project has been enlightening and critical to our accomplishment.

Satellite sites have provided a lifestyle shopping park for DIY and home furnishings, relocation space light industrial and manufacturers whilst the core of the park is designed for fashion and leisure. Previously a site for Meccano and Hornby Railway from 1914 to 1979, a new Meccano Liver Bird statue stands proudly in the centre of the park. Phase 2, which was approved for planning in February 2019 will include a leisure block comprising a six-screen cinema, a new state of the art Hollywood Bowl, as well as a gym and five restaurant units on the ground floor. A separate building will accommodate a 60,000sqft anchor retail store and a further 16 smaller retail units. This phase is due to start on site in Spring/Summer 2019.

Liverpool Shopping Park merges high fashion retail with cutting edge design and a retail formula that is relevant and on point with the requirements of tenants and shoppers- it has become a destination and is a joy to be part of.
