66,000ft² global headquarters for Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100 Company.
We worked collaboratively from inception to completion with Pochin and the end user client, Radius Payment Solutions, to design and deliver their new global headquarters at Crewe Business Park. Early engagement including the full consultant team, ensured that we delivered value and buildability from the outset, as over 500 staff were brought together from Radius's existing buildings in Crewe.
The opening of the new HQ is a crucial moment in Radius’ history… We have tried to build a mix of professional workspace with some nice relaxation and informal areas to create a great environment for our employees. We now have a unique, modern base which will further enhance our ability to attract new talent. Thank you to the team at Pochin and all other consultants on the project.Bill Homes CEO, Radius Payment Solutions
The four-storey project, which includes column free 15m office floor plates, an atrium, gym, games room, communal meeting areas and café, was designed using a collaborative 3D model. This not only reduced the amount of uncertainty and risk associated with the project but enabled the innovative use of virtual reality software to better communicate the design with the Client and Interior Designer, Space Invader.
This project is our first commercial office build since handing over the keys to Moneypenny’s ambitious new headquarters in Wrexham last summer. That campus project has gone on to be recognised by the British Council for Offices as the best new corporate workplace in the North and we’re looking forward to working with AEW Architects again to deliver another high quality project for Radius.Bob Nicholson Director, Pochins
