Developing an emerging accommodation typology for the region, the project embeds resident amenity including a gym, concierge, basement car park and cycle storage. To enhance wellbeing, the project maximises design benefits of external space and the public realm, creating an attractive courtyard terrace.
The gateway site into Manchester demanded a strong architectural response. The three towers, now named The Trilogy were developed through close collaboration with Manchester City Council and provide a striking gateway to the approach to the city centre.
The triangular site is constrained by roads on two edges, so we always had one eye on buildability. We utilised 3D design across the team with regular model shares for design coordination.
