Imagining the largest, most sustainable, temporary McDonald's restaurants for the Olympic Games.

From 2008, we led stakeholder engagement on behalf of McDonald's with the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games [LOCOG]. Progressing to design and delivery we scoured the global temporary building market to achieve temporary restaurants for athletes, press and the public whilst achieving the high level of brand standard and LOCOG's ambitious sustainability targets. The project consisted of over XXXX of restaurants space over 4 sites where all elements were returned to the temporary building market or reused in a McDonald's UK refurbishment programme.

The projects were applauded by CABE for their design and LOCOG as the principle on how to approach sustainability at an Olympic Games.
