Our work with PLP continues with the successfully secured outline planning consent for up to 800,000ft² of manufacturing / distribution space at Knowsley Industrial Park, which is already home to around 600 businesses across 900-acres of land, near Liverpool.
We have prepared flexible masterplans for PLP Knowsley, to accommodate either a single 800,000ft² unit or a multi-unit scheme totalling 720,000ft², to maximise the development potential of this prime multi-modal logistics location, close to the M57 / A580 junction, the Port of Liverpool and a rail freight terminal.
Our wide-ranging experience in the industrial and logistics markets, enables us to work seamlessly and proactively with our industrial developer clients like PLP. We maximise the development potential of their plots while carefully considering the setting of buildings, we introduce user friendly and adaptable external layouts that consider future technologies, and always ensure that flexibility and aesthetics are to the fore. This ensures when the sites are taken to market, they stand head and shoulders above the competition.
The outline planning consent gives Peel Logistics Property the ability to deliver warehousing and distribution facilities of up to 800,000ft² in one single unit. In addition, we will be shortly be instructing a £1.2m groundworks contract to bring the site forwards for development which will essentially create an ‘oven-ready’ land opportunity and allows us to offer the occupational market competitive timescales for the delivery of new design and build facilities.Matthew Fitton Director of Development at PLP
Our work with PLP continues with works to date that include: L175 at Speke, Pioneer Point at Ellesmere Port and others in the pipeline.
