BCO Award winning conversion of Grade II listed building, to create Grade A office accommodation in Manchester City centre.

Our sensitive restoration breathed new life into a Grade 2 listed 1860’s cotton warehouse that sits proudly on the corner of Peter Street, Manchester. The original character of the building was retained with a design philosophy based on being clear, contemporary and reversible interventions, transforming the building into breath-taking Grade A office accommodation which is bursting with character.

Sleek, contemporary and oozing quality, the offices reflect well on our staff, service, culture, clients and contacts. "The floor to ceiling windows allow visitors to view the very best of Manchester’s historic world-class architecture from the comfort of inside our office. The surrounding outside decking offers spectacular views across the city of Manchester and beyond. It is the perfect venue for summer meetings.

We brought the lower ground floor storey back into use, replaced an old roof top extension, conserved the external envelope and sensitively refurbished the office floors. Early engagement with the main contractor and close collaboration with Manchester City Council planning department and conservation officer resulted in a smooth, successful delivery.

Staff and clients are all impressed with the look and 'feel' of the building, combining classical, solid architecture with a modern, bright, comfortable working environment.
