We’re excited to announce, we’ve been named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for the first time!
The list honours and celebrates Britain’s top employers and acknowledges the best workplaces for women, LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers and wellbeing.
The Sunday Times partnered with employee-experience platform WorkL to survey applicant’s staff using 35 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey which focus on areas like staff empowerment, job satisfaction and employee wellbeing. In addition to determining the list, the results provide insight into new and emerging workplace practice. This year, pet policies, flexible working and a four-day week proved popular incentives.
Chris Longcroft, EVP Publisher, The Times and The Sunday Times, said: “The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards recognise companies that create a happier and fulfilling working environment for all, by fostering engagement from their teams, yielding great business and performance in return. Wishing all of those companies who made the grade this year many congratulations.”
MD Andrew Rainford said:
“We are incredibly proud to have joined the Best Place to Work List for the first time. The accolade recognises the work of everyone across the practice and we look forward to using the insights from the survey to ensure AEW remains the best place to work for our team.”
Our appointment to the list, comes off the back of other recent successes including becoming a Certified B Corp, joining the Living Wage Foundation and being shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year at the Insider North West Property Awards.
