Celebrating Double Success in the BCO Awards 2025

We’re celebrating a remarkable achievement, with two of our projects shortlisted for the prestigious British Council for Offices (BCO) Northern Awards 2025. Our innovative designs for Arden Square in Crewe and Oldham Spindles have been recognised in the Corporate Workplace and Recycled/Refurbished Workplace categories, respectively.

The BCO Awards spotlight excellence in office design, acknowledging projects that push the boundaries of sustainability, functionality, and innovation. This year, we’ve once again demonstrated our expertise in the office design sector by delivering two standout projects that redefine the modern workplace.

Shortlisted in the Corporate Workplace category, Arden Square is a striking new-build office in Crewe, designed for Radius. The 44,000 sqft state-of-the-art, collaborative workspace features testing, warehousing and dispatch facilities as well as office space for Radius’ teams. Amenities include a barista coffee station and pizza bar, breakout spaces, meeting rooms and a roof top ‘sky bar’. All are arranged around the conical 4 storey atrium which terminates with a roof light. The Star Wars inspired sky bar, spills out onto a large roof top terrace.

In the Recycled/Refurbished Workplace category, we have seen  Oldham Spindles recognised. Working for client Oldham Council, we have helped transform the upper floors of an underperforming shopping centre into a thriving civic hub. By repurposing an underutilised building, we’ve created a sustainable workplace that fosters collaboration and engagement, improves access to public services and supports economic growth in the town.

With judges visits now concluded, we look forward to joining project partners at the BCO Northern Awards Night in April which will bring together industry leaders to celebrate outstanding contributions to workplace design.

This double shortlisting builds on our BCO Awards track record which includes Moneypenny, Wrexham winning the Regional Award and being Highly Commended in the National Awards in 2017 before going on to be a BCO Test of Time finalist in 2022.
