For the fifth year running, we are delighted to have been named as a finalist in the Architectural Practice of the Year category at the Insider North West Property Awards 2025. One of only seven practices to have made the shortlist.
The Insider North West Property Awards, aim to highlight the projects, businesses and individuals who have contributed to the success of the commercial property market across the North West in the preceding year. This year’s finalists were selected following judging by a group of eight regional experts.
This recognition is a testament to our work designing and delivering practical, sustainable places for our public and private sector clients across the North West, creating spaces that serve, support, and inspire communities in the region.
In addition to the Architectural Practice of the Year nomination, Arden Square, Crewe has been nominated for Commercial Development of the Year.
Arden Square is a 44,000 sq ft, BREEAM ‘Excellent’ headquarters for Radius Payment Solutions’ telematics division, which completed last year. The four-storey building features two workspace wings flanking a central amenity and circulation space. Designed for collaboration, it includes testing, warehousing, and dispatch facilities alongside office space. Amenities include a barista coffee station, pizza bar, breakout spaces, meeting rooms, and a rooftop ‘sky bar,’ all centred around a striking four-storey atrium capped with a roof light.
AEW Managing Director, Andy Rainford said of the awards: “Being named an Architectural Practice of the Year finalist once again is a reflection of our team’s dedication to creating outstanding places that are both practical and leave a lasting legacy. We take great pride in delivering designs that serve communities and support businesses across the North West and Arden Square’s shortlisting is further evidence of this. We look forward to joining all the other finalists at the award night this May.”
Arden Square has also seen success at the British Council for Offices (BCO) Northern Awards recently being shortlisted in the Corporate Workplace category. That was not our only nomination as Oldham Spindles was also named as a finalist in the Recycled / Refurbished Workplace category.
