Our Largest Team Ever take on the Cumbrian Challenge

For the fourth time, a brave group of walkers from our team are taking on the Cumbrian Challenge in support of Walking with the Wounded.
The charity provides early intervention programmes and speed up access to therapy to help change the lives of veterans and their families. They support those “who have fallen the furthest, men and women struggling with mental health issues, unemployment, homelessness or caught in police custody.”
In total, 26 staff across 7 teams will take on the challenge and help raise much needed funds for the charity. This will take place on May 13th and will involve a challenging walk around the Lake District, alongside teams of veterans and other supporters. Our teams will all complete “The Tougher” challenge, climbing 13 peaks over 31km with a 2,289m ascent.
Rob Foster, who’s helped organise the event for the past few years has said:
“We can’t wait to take on the Cumbrian Challenge with our largest ever group of walkers! This event always causes a buzz in the office and it’s great to see so many people getting involved for the first time. Volunteering our time and raising money for charity is a key focus of our Social Value Agenda and we’re delighted we can support the valuable work Walking with the Wounded do again this year.”
