We recently held our annual End of Year Presentation at the Everyman Cinema Manchester, with the whole team in attendance. The event is an open and transparent review of our business performance over the last financial year, split into our key themes of People, Projects and Performance. We also celebrated personal highlights from every member of the team, outstanding projects that we have delivered, and recognised the progress and development of our people who help make our work exceptional. This included announcing four promotions to Associate.
We ended the afternoon by sharing our Business Plan for the next two years, which included plans to ensure we stay proactive in our approach to sustainability, projects, clients and stakeholders, before heading out for a party at the Brick House Social.
Despite another turbulent and challenging year in the wider economy and construction industry, our last financial year saw us deliver a strong performance across the practice. Below we summarise our year in numbers:
- 1 new office opened in London
- 19.8% growth in Net Turnover
- 100+ strong team delivering amazing projects for our clients
- 9 promotions, including a new Director
- 1 of our team became a qualified Architect
- 2 of our team became chartered architectural technologists
- 1 of our team became a BREEAM Assessor
- 3 of our team joined the RIBA Principal Designer Register
- 547 new projects – more than doubling our previous year’s performance
- 76 ‘Exceptional’ average Net Promoter Score from our Annual Client Survey
- 2% inflationary pay rise awarded to all staff to help with the cost-of-living crisis
- Over £26,000 raised for charitable causes
- 14 work experience students hosted
Managing Director, Andy Rainford concluded the presentation:
“We have been amazingly successful through another challenging year. The year ahead will undoubtedly have some bumps along the way, however, we have a great team and many established clients in a diverse range of sectors. Together, we look forward to continuing to make progressive places.”
