We continue our 10+ year relationship with the world’s largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics, Lineage Logistics (previously Yearsley Group), with an 89,500 sqft extension to their cold storage facility at Hareshill Distribution Park, Heywood.
The scheme comprises of a new 20.7m high, 67,000 sqft ‘single skin’ cold store warehouse with 8 loading docks and a 9,500 sqft three-storey office, joined to the existing warehouse with a 13,000 sqft link extension. The project was completed by Lineage’s national contracting partner Russell WBHO A detailed collaborative design process with early engagement between design team and contractor, ensured maximum value was delivered and seamless operations were maintained at this extremely busy live site.
This seventh and final phase of development has completed Lineage UK’s headquarters site, and will create a further 50 full time jobs. It responds to unprecedented customer demand in the market, which sees further expansion of Lineage’s national capacity including the construction of phases 2 and 3 of Superhub South, their 385,000 sqft logistics hub and cold store facility in Peterborough.
