We assisted Stockport Council with their submission for the Future High Street Fund for the project known as “StockRoom” which included the Former M&S, Former Next and former Mothercare units.

The project aims to create a “future focused” public service facility and aims to celebrate culture and creativity of the town by providing a space that encourages people to valuable leisure time there. The aim it create a future-focused hub for the whole community bringing a learning and knowledge store to the High Street putting cultural community and public facing services around a new customer arrival point for the town, creating a transformational visitor experience. It will contain a new toilet and amenity facility/ Providing a space that encourages people to tell their story and experience those of others through a range of accessible and desirable media.

StockRoom will include bespoke space for 50 new businesses and be a new home to a range of services, connecting users with service providers in a modern and welcoming environment right on the high street.
