Sale West is a Residential Property Awards Finalist

We’re excited to share that our Sale West project, has been shortlisted in the ‘Social Impact’ category at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2024.

The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on 25 January 2024 and will showcase the companies, schemes and deals that have set the highest standards in the residential property sector over the past year.

The £50m Sale West masterplan is one of the largest regeneration projects in Manchester for over a decade. It includes the delivery of 263 new homes, enhancing the estate with a focus on green spaces and biodiversity and driving up the quality of 1,100 existing homes. Phase 1 is nearing completion, with over 50 of the first 79 new homes handed over to date. The 22 unit Phase 2 has also recently commenced and will see 9 complex infill sites being redeveloped to provide highly energy efficient dwellings with renewable energy sources. In addition to the physical improvements, together with project partners Irwell Valley Homes and Seddon, we have helped tackle economic and social challenges and invested time and funds to create a wealth of training and employment opportunities for those living locally.

One of AEW’s major contributions has been the three-year adoption of Ashton on Mersey School under the ‘Class Of your Own’ ‘Design Engineer Construct!’ initiative. Students are discovering pathways into the construction industry through curriculum hours, an after-school architecture club, site visits and work experience in AEW’s office.
