Following another successful financial year end, and as we look forward to the future, we’re delighted to announce several senior promotions. Peter Bartley has been promoted to Associate Director, Tom Scott-Smith and Liz Durcan have become Associates and Meg Wood has been made a Senior Interior Designer.
Peter joined AEW in 2021 as Sustainability Manager, and since then has made huge strides in driving our sustainability agenda forward – both as a business and in the delivery of our services. He now manages a sustainability team of three, offering BREEAM Assessor, BREEAM Accredited Professional and Life-cycle Assessment services to our clients.
Architect Tom has been with AEW for five years and has been promoted to Associate for stepping up and taking ownership of a significant new retail client workstream and for his role mentoring more junior members of staff.
Interior Designer Liz has been promoted to the role of Associate for championing interior design both within the practice and externally. Liz’s recent work includes our own studio and Oldham Council’s recently opened office in Oldham Spindles.
Meg joined AEW as a Graduate in 2015 and has now been made a Senior Interior Designer for showing exceptional commitment in leading the “Convenience of the Future” roll out for McDonald’s – one of our most significant and long-standing clients.
Andy Rainford, Managing Director has said of the promotions:
“As we continue to progress and grow, we are always looking forward and are confident in making the appropriate changes to strengthen our team at the right time. I’m therefore delighted to be able to announce the promotion of these four high performing members of the team.”
This round of promotions follows the strategic promotion of Alex Southall and Danielle Purves to Director earlier this year and the addition of three new Architects to the team with Kate Silvester, Emily Fettes and Michael Harrison all passing their RIBA Part III exams in April.
