Our Building Information Modelling (BIM) Team provide our architectural and design teams with the training, tools and processes needed to optimise design delivery. This support ranges from coordination management and model quality improvements to the creation of project documentation. These documents can span from BIM Execution Plans to Responsibilities Matrices. The team also offer bespoke BIM training and consultancy services to our clients, either as an integrated service or as a standalone commission.

We understand the importance of researching and respecting the history of a site or building. Our integrated expertise in heritage and conservation allow us to offer expert opinion on projects that include or affect protected heritage assets and buildings to inform our designs for the future. We're also available to lead on listed building applications, applications in conservation areas, impact assessments, quinquennial surveys, specialist fabric repairs and expert opinion on works to listed buildings. We can also assist with Heritage Lottery Funding applications.

Our Interior Design Team provide space planning, concept design, interior design and workplace consultancy services across our specialist sectors. As buildings increasingly need to work harder for their owners and users, the early application of our interior design expertise can help drive innovation and efficiencies in internal environments. The Team can provide an integrated service alongside our architectural teams or can be commissioned directly for standalone interior design projects.

Our masterplanning commissions involve understanding the unique physical, economic and strategic constraints and opportunities of a site to identify what will create the greatest value for the local area and our clients. We maintain a long-term view on solutions and focus on feasibility and deliverability. Our experience covers our full range of sectors and mixed-use solutions and includes the development of Design Guides. Past projects range from tight, urban town centre sites and rural sports villages to large-scale strategic housing and employment areas.

Our inhouse Planning Consultancy experts provide invaluable support in developing proposals in accordance with all relevant planning policy and legislation. They work collaboratively with our design and architectural teams to deal quickly and concisely with Local Authorities to work efficiently through the planning process and obtain swift decisions. Planning consultancy is available as an independent service or as an integrated service alongside our architectural or interior design commissions.

Our dedicated team stands at the forefront of this growing specialism, working with Registered Providers, landlords and Local Authorities. We improve residential stock and give commercial properties a second life, whether that means transforming outdated houses into net zero carbon homes, replacing external cladding on high rise blocks, or reimagining landmarks for new uses. We design passivhaus projects, net zero carbon buildings and aim for the highest BREEAM ratings.
